Give up? From allegations that have recently come out it appears that GQ have naughtily, using sneaky Photoshop techniques, removed the lovely Russian’s underwear leaving her appearing to be undressed – certainly there’s little to be seen, but nudity is implied. And that’s what has got Irina, and her agency, somewhat upset.
According to Irina’s agency, Elite Model Management, the photos were originally lensed with Irina wearing lingerie from Intimissimi for which she is the brand ambassador. As per the contract signed on her behalf by Elite, Irina would also have approval on any images which would be published. None of them were nudity. GQ allegedly did not abide by this arrangement.
As you’ll see in the pictures nudity is certainly implied, but the video does tell another story with Irina visibly topless. A lot of this seems to come down to what was expected from the photo shoot and one’s definition of nudity and whether it includes toplessness or not.
Elite Model Management’s statement is directly below, while you’ll find the video and previews of the photo shoot underneath the statement.
